Creating a New You

Creating a new you is an integral part of becoming a new person with a vibrant and full head of hair. The majority of products on the market make use of a variety of chemicals that can stop some of the production of DHT, the extreme testosterone hormone that stops the production of hair on men’s scalps. For many a full head of hair is often the source of enormous pride of vanity. This of course is why people spend billions on everything from toupees to weaves to extensions to infomercials. Unfortunately, once a person begins to experience dramatic hair loss; they become obsessed with holding on to the remaining hairs they still have.

Creating a “new you” is entirely up to you and requires commitment on your part to make yourself over. A new you requires a make over that includes the ability to improve your diet, exercise and lose weight. Taking on the challenge of making yourself over starting from the scalp down can seem like a daunting task. However, improving your lifestyle by decreasing the stress in your life can do wonders for your hair. Many people begin to panic at the first sight of hair in the drain but the truth is that we shed about 150 hairs per day. It is important to start a regimen you are comfortable with that includes deep scalp cleansers and DHT blockers.

A new body for a new you may sound cliché but a full head of hair can go a long way in making someone feel great. It improves self image and it decreases stress by trying exercise to increase the endorphins in your brain. Since DHT has become known as the leading cause of hereditary hair loss that does not allow regularly shed hair to regrow. Certain hair loss shampoos contain specific botanicals that act to counteract the effects of DHT in the hair follicle. Many other shampoos work deep within the hair follicle and attempt to stop hair loss through a deep cleaning process of pore unclogging so that new hair growth can begin. If these are not sufficient, there is always hair restoration or hair transplant to look into.
